For lunch and dinner, if you feel like staying in, you're welcome to use our indoor or outdoor dining areas. The nearest supermarket is 12 minutes down the road:Publix: 14605 E State Rd 70, Bradenton, FL. We have utensils, dishes, glasses, a microwave, etc. and each guest room has a fridge.

Main St
20 minutes from Casa Calm, you'll find Lakewood Ranch's Main St, where you can catch a movie, play miniature golf, stroll the artisan shops, sample wines at a wine tasting bar or beer at Craft Growlers tasting room, and enjoy dinner at anyone of the following restaurants (all are within walking distance of each other and most have outdoor seating):
Pink Gator Café
If you're spending the day in Myakka River State Park (a choice we highly recommend), the Pink Gator Café has you covered. Located within the park, their menu includes alligator, seafood gumbo, vegetarian options, burgers, wraps, wine, and local beers. Info

St. Armands Circle (35 minutes)

University Town Center - UTC

Restaurants with Live Music
We're big fans of live music, and the Sarasota-Bradenton area fills the bill generously with plenty of hot spots. If you're looking for some entertainment with your meal, try any of the following venues. The restaurants are located anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour from Casa Calm several are by the coast
so check the address and calendar before venturing out. Suggestion: why not stop at one on your way back from the beach. Not only will you get to hear some great live music, but you'll also get to enjoy the beautiful sunsets that the Gulf Coast has to offer.
