Restaurants If you feel like dining out, here are some nearby restaurants. Main St 20 minutes from Casa Calm, you'll find Lakewood Ranch's Main St, where you can catch a movie, play miniature golf, stroll the artisan shops, sample wines at a wine tasting bar or beer at Craft Growlers tasting room, and enjoy dinner at anyone of the following restaurants (all are within walking distance of each other and most have outdoor seating): Main Street Trattoria (live music) Inkawasi (Peruvian) Casa Maya Mexican Restaurant HANA Sushi Lounge Paris Bistrot Sofia's Remy's on Main McGrath's Grove Pinchers Crab Shack Ed's Tavern Craft Growlers to go and Tasting Room Station 400 (breakfast and lunch only) Starbucks Big Olaf Creamery The Green at Lakewood Ranch Shopping center 15 minutes from us with the following restaurants: Chipotle So Fresh Panera Bread Starbucks Keke's San Marco Plaza More shops and dining options located across from Lakewood Ranch's Main St. Thai Spice & Sushi Cassariano Italian Eatery B&B Chophouse & Market Pink Gator Café If you're spending the day in Myakka River State Park (a choice we highly recommend), the Pink Gator Café has you covered. Located within the park, their menu includes alligator, seafood gumbo, vegetarian options, burgers, wraps, wine, and local beers. Info here. Restaurants within 15 to 20 Minutes of Us University Town Center - UTC UTC is a large conglomerate of indoor and outdoor malls located 25 minutes from us. Restaurants with Live Music We're big fans of live music, and the Sarasota-Bradenton area fills the bill generously with plenty of hot spots. If you're looking for some entertainment with your meal, try any of the following venues. The restaurants are located anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour from Casa Calm – several are by the coast – so check the address and calendar before venturing out. Suggestion: why not stop at one on your way back from the beach. Not only will you get to hear some great live music, but you'll also get to enjoy the beautiful sunsets that the Gulf Coast has to offer.
